This course is to expose students to advanced financial accounting concepts including accounting for business combinations, with emphasis on the consolidation of parent and subsidiary balance sheet and statement of income and retained earnings. This course also covers accounting for the foreign transactions, translation of foreign currency financial statements, segment and interim financial reporting.
